Privacy and Data Security Policy

Effective Date: June 1, 2018

Tekkis Corporation, doing business as Tekkis, (hereinafter "Tekkis") has established this privacy and data security policy to explain to you how your data and your Client Data that you place on the site is protected, collected, and used. Tekkis may update this policy at any time provided that you are given 30 days’ notice prior to any changes going into effect unless such changes are required to comply with federal or state law, in which case such changes will become effective immediately upon notification thereof. Tekkis will provide notice of materially significant changes to this privacy policy by posting notice at www.Tekkis.com/privacypolicy.

This Privacy Policy applies to Tekkis.com (the “Site"). Tekkis collects most data on the Site, which requires a password and/or other secure, non-public authentication in order to access.

Protecting Your Private Information

Tekkis makes all attempts to protect your private information. On the Site, Tekkis makes your account information and user settings available to Tekkis staff members and designated subcontractors specifically to assist you with the services to which you have subscribed.

Tekkis, or people who send you emails through Tekkis, may provide links or interfaces with third party websites, which may have different privacy practices. Tekkis is not responsible for, and does not have any control over, the privacy policies of those third-party websites, and encourages all users to read the privacy policies of each website visited.

Tekkis does not sell user or Client Data to third parties under any circumstance, including but not limited to advertising, data farming, and external research.

Data Tekkis Collects About Its Users

Tekkis collects the following data: your email address, your physical contact information, and your phone number; information based on your activities on Tekkis’s website; correspondence through Tekkis’s website, correspondence sent to Tekkis; additional information Tekkis may ask you to submit including, but not limited to, information to authenticate yourself, information to prove that you are able to enter into a legally binding contract, or information if Tekkis believes you are violating its policies; and, other supplemental information from third parties.

Tekkis sometimes collects your email address, for purposes such as sending confirmation emails, authenticating your accounts, and sending information about Tekkis and its websites. By submitting your email to Tekkis’s website, you consent to emails from Tekkis.

Tekkis sometimes collects your phone number for the purpose of contacting you regarding your account and the services Tekkis, including for two-factor authentication. By submitting your phone number to Tekkis, you consent to phone calls and text messages from Tekkis, even if such number is registered through a state or federal "Do Not Call" list.

Tekkis may collect personal information if you provide it in feedback or comments or if you contact Tekkis directly.

Any information posted on the public areas of Tekkis website is not confidential. Please do not post anything on the public areas of Tekkis website that you would like to keep private.

Tekkis’s web logs collect standard web log entries for each page served, including your IP address, page URL, and timestamp. Web logs help Tekkis diagnose technical problems, administer the Tekkis website, and otherwise provide Tekkis’s service to you.

Tekkis does not do any geotracking directly through the Tekkis website, although the third-party applications such as Google Analytics may. By using the Tekkis Site, you consent to such information being obtained by Tekkis or third parties it contracts with.

Tekkis will collect email addresses of third parties to whom you send messages that files are available for download. By submitting others’ email addresses to Tekkis’s website, you agree and acknowledge that you are representing that you have the ability to send emails to that email address.

Protecting Client Data

Tekkis collects Client Data through information and files supplied by you. Tekkis and the Tekkis system were designed with security in mind. The Site is served over secure HTTPS and requires a username/password to access all sensitive or proprietary data, including all Client Data. However, while Tekkis highly suggests that organizations require strong passwords, each client user logins and permissions for users in their organization and mandates the type of passwords across their organization. Tekkis also suggests that all passwords are stored in a confidential location and updated frequently.

Data Tekkis Stores

Tekkis’s web logs and account records may be stored indefinitely. This may include any information you supply to Tekkis for your profile and/or accounts. However, Tekkis cannot guarantee access to weblogs and account records for more than fourteen business days after the original information was submitted.

Tekkis stores account information, including all uploaded data, for all active users for up to thirty days. Tekkis deletes all Client Data within thirty days of it being uploaded. Unless otherwise requested, Tekkis deletes Client Data six months after termination of services. It is your responsibility to keep a copy of all Client Data that you upload to the Site.

Data Privacy and Ownership

Tekkis’s policy is that each client's Client Data, with the exception of basic account information, belong to that client and that client only. Tekkis does not obtain ownership of a client's Client Data after it has been uploaded into the system. Tekkis only retains ownership of its proprietary system, including its features, tools, designs, schematics, functionality, patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual material that is not dependent on any individual client's Client Data. Tekkis cannot access any Client Data as it is encrypted upon upload.

Archiving and Display of Tekkis’s website by Search Engines and Other Websites Search engines and other websites not affiliated with Tekkis - including Google.com and Yahoo.com - archive or otherwise make available Tekkis’s main public-facing corporate pages. Tekkis has no control over third party archiving and search engine websites and cannot guarantee the accuracy of any information stored by these websites. While information may be available to non-United States residents through search engines and other sites, only IP addresses registered in the United States can access the Site.

Circumstances under Which Tekkis may Release Information

Tekkis may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes.

Tekkis may disclose information about its users, including but not limited to account information, to law enforcement officers or others, in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce Tekkis’s Terms of Use; respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights of third-parties; or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Tekkis, its users, or the general public.

Tekkis may disclose information, including personal information from your account, to a third party if you request it in writing.

Tekkis may disclose your information to third parties for use by Tekkis to help provide the services to you if allowed under federal, state and local laws.

Tekkis may disclose your information to other business entities, should Tekkis plan to merge with or be acquired by that business entity. Client Data will only be transferred if a merger or acquisition actually takes place.

International Users

Tekkis only does business with companies based in the United States. Non-United States based IP addresses should not access the Site. By using the Site, you warrant and represent that you are based in the United States.
